Description
The building at Swift's House is a farm office and attached cottage, dating from the 18th century. It features a rendered, squared coursed limestone exterior and a hipped slate roof, with brick stacks at the ends and ridge. The structure has a long rectangular plan and is two storeys high, comprising a five-window range. There are three entrances, each with plank or panelled/glazed doors topped by stone flat arches, along with one blocked entrance. The building has five 2-light wood casement windows, two of which include lead cames and crown glass, all with stone flat arches. A loft door on the left side is framed with a hood and also features a stone flat arch. An outshot is present at the right end. Inside, there are stone flag floors and panelled doors.
