Description
No. 26 Bridge Street is a house and shop dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a stucco front and features brick end stacks. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. The central entrance includes a panelled door with a patterned overlight, flanked by Ionic fluted columns in the doorcase. On either side of the entrance, there are two sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has three sash windows with moulded surrounds, cornices on consoles, and glazing bars. The third floor also features three sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor is rusticated, and Ionic pilasters are present on the first and second floors, topped by a parapet.
