Description
Pebsham and the adjoining house is a row of four cottages that have been converted into two dwellings. Likely built in the early 18th century, the cottages were altered in the 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared marlstone and feature wooden lintels, topped with a thatched roof that has stone and brick chimney stacks. The buildings are three storeys high with single-unit plans that are now linked together. Each upper floor bay has a small two-light casement window, while the ground floor has been modified with casements replacing the original doorways. The stone chimney stacks to the right of each bay have been repaired with brick. The interiors have not been inspected. This row is an unusual example of an early three-storey cottage terrace.
