Description
The Church of St Andrew features a churchyard cross located approximately 6 meters to the west. This cross dates from the 14th or 15th century and was restored in 1950. It is made of limestone and has a tapering octagonal shaft that rises from a square base, both of which have broach stops. The cross stands on a three-step plinth. The upper half of the shaft is a restoration and supports a medieval head of unknown origin. This head is designed as a quatrefoil, depicting Christ crucified on one side and the Virgin and Child on the other.
