Description
Logg Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from limestone rubble, featuring artificial stone-slate roofs and renewed brick gable stacks. The building has a double-depth plan with wings and stands two storeys high with attics. The front facade is regular with three windows and includes a four-panel door with a rectangular overlight. Above the door and in the outer bays are renewed 16-pane sash windows, all adorned with stone flat arches. The rear of the farmhouse has casement windows with wooden lintels. The double-span roof is finished with gable parapets and renewed copings. To the left of the front, there is a small added wing with a canted end. There is also a single-storey contemporary wing extending to the left of the rear range, which projects to the rear and features a tiled roof with original gable parapets and large projecting kneelers. Inside, the farmhouse has an 18th-century staircase with a ramped handrail and turned balusters leading up to the attic. Logg Farmhouse was formerly part of the Water Eaton Estate.
