Description
Rectory Cottage is a small house built in the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a thatch roof that has rubble and brick stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey plus an attic. The front facade includes two 3-light casement windows, with an additional casement on the far right that was previously a doorway, and a second blocked doorway to the left of the center. The first floor has a single 3-light dormer. The roof features a gable stack on the left side and a smaller stack on the right, which rises from a rubble chimney projection on the gable wall near the front angle. The ends of the house have old small casements and another blocked doorway on the left. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
