Description

Rectory Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, that was formerly subdivided. It dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels. The roof is made of Stonesfield slate and features rubble and brick gable stacks. The building has a 2- or 3-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The symmetrical front has four windows, with two 2-light casements on the first floor and two 3-light casements on the ground floor, flanking a central plank door. All the windows have leaded glazing. There is an inserted doorway to the right of the centre that is now built up. The left stack has a rubble base. The interior has not been inspected.
