Description

Beauchamp House is a large house, probably built in the 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone rubble and has a Welsh slate roof with stone copings. The house features a brick ridge stack and a rendered end stack on the right side. It has a four-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high, with a five-window range.

There are two entrances: to the right, a four-panelled door with a moulded wooden frame and an arched canopy hood is flanked by two three-light wooden mullioned and transomed windows. To the left, there is a plank door with iron hinges, also with a moulded wooden frame and an arched canopy hood. Next to this door is a small window and another three-light wooden mullioned and transomed window. On the first floor, there are four wooden mullioned and transomed windows and one small rectangular window. Some windows feature crown glass and wrought iron casement fasteners, including designs of a lion and a griffin. Most windows have chamfered wooden lintels, and there are two gabled roof dormers with two lights.

Inside, there is a plank door, a staircase with a straight flight and winders, and a cellar. The kitchen has a 20th-century bay window.
