Description

Mill Street Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on Mill Street in Iden Green, Benenden. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The roof is tiled, hipped on the right-hand side, with an external brick chimneystack. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows. It features 19th-century casement windows and a simple doorcase with an open pediment supported by brackets, containing a plank door. It holds group value as a well-preserved example of a rural cottage.
