Description
Weald House is a house that consists of two parts. The rear section is likely a late Medieval hall-house with a late 16th-century inserted stack, which was refronted in the 19th century. The front range dates from the 19th century. The rear part features timber framing, with red brick cladding on the ground floor and weatherboarding on the first floor. It has a steeply pitched tiled roof and a panelled 16th-century brick stack. The house has two storeys and attics, with two windows and two gabled dormers that contain casement windows. There are also two double casements with verticals only. The front range is a 19th-century weatherboarded structure with a tiled roof and three casement windows, along with a gabled feature.
