Description

Three Chimneys Farmhouse is a 16th-century house that has been altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is timber-framed with a red brick ground floor, partially in English bond, and tooled sandstone blocks in the return elevations. The ground floor is tile-hung, and the roof is tiled. The house is two storeys high with a garret, set on a plinth, and includes a two-storey gabled cross-wing on the left. There are stacks in the centre left and at the end on the right. The left gable has a window, and there are four wooden casement windows on the first floor, and three on the ground floor. A boarded door is located in the centre. The right return elevation on the ground floor features extensive stonework, patched with brick, and a boarded door to the right.
