Description

Cecil Court is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Cecil Court. It is three storeys high with a basement and is faced with cement. The house has a cornice, a parapet, and Corinthian pilasters flanking the front. A stringcourse runs above the ground and first floors. There are three windows facing west and six facing east, all retaining their original glazing bars. A porch features fluted pilasters and foliated capitals. Inside, a good staircase is present. The east front features two curved bays on each floor, and a trellised wooden verandah with a hood is located on the ground floor. Original area railings are also present. Numbers 28 and 30 Cecil Court form a group.
