Description
This is a barn located approximately 10 meters east of St Nortons, with an uncertain date, likely from the 17th or 19th century. It is timber-framed and clad with weatherboards, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn features three bays and is oriented roughly east to west, with opposing full-height central double doorways leading onto the threshing floor. The front of the barn has a late 19th or early 20th century window with glazing bars on either side of the plank doors, and there is a shuttered hatch to the left. The roof is gable-ended.
The interior was not available for inspection at the time of the survey. The barn is aligned with Nos 1 and 2 St Nortons Cottages nearby, suggesting they may have been built together.
