Description
This is a barn located 20 meters south of Northmore Farmhouse, dating from the early 17th century. The barn features seven bays and two aisles, constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding. It has a thatched roof that is half-hipped at the north end. On the east side, there is a low midstrey with eyebrow heads, which includes a pair of boarded and battened barn doors. The structure retains largely complete plank-type arch-bracing, good close-studding, and a clasped-purlin roof supported by wind-braced principal rafters. Additionally, there is a small-paned window from the 19th century at the north end.
