Description
The White Horse Public House is a late 18th-century building located on Church Street in Exning. It stands three storeys high and features two windows. The exterior is made of painted brick and has parapet gables. The roof is slated with gable chimneys constructed from gault brick. The building has sash windows with gauged brick flat arches and small-pane sashes, along with horizontal sliding casements on the second floor. To the right, there is an early 19th-century one-storey splayed bay with a flat roof. The entrance has a doorway with a blank semi-circular fanlight and a 20th-century panelled and glazed door. To the left, there is an earlier 18th-century wing that is one-and-a-half storeys tall, featuring rendered walls with dentil eaves, a plaintiled roof, a red brick chimney, and a gabled dormer with a sash window. At the front, there is a lean-to from the 19th century with a slate roof, which includes two windows and a door.
