Description
The garden walls adjoining to the east and approximately 2 meters west of Little Hawkwell Farmhouse are a boundary wall with various dates, likely dating back to the 17th century for the oldest sections, while the rest are from the 18th and 19th centuries. The oldest parts are made of sandstone laid in rough courses and feature sandstone ashlar ridged coping. One section extends from the east side of the kitchen and then turns north along the east side of the front garden. A plastered brick section across the front of the garden is probably from the 19th century. The wall along the western side is made of stone and resembles the east wall. This wall rises to a higher level as it passes the western side of the back garden and is interrupted by a couple of plastered square section piers.
