Description
LAMBERHURST FREE HEATH ROAD TQ 63 NE (west side) 3/152 Post Office 9.8.79 Cottage/Trafalgar Lodge GV II House, sometime house pair. Early C19 and extended late C20. Painted brick and weather boarded with red brick rear elevations and with slate roofs. Originally L- shaped, now with large additional wing. Two storeys and hipped roof with return hip of original left hand wing oversailing at left and stacks to centre and at end right. Four glazing bar sashes on first floor and two to left on ground floor with two canted bays to right with glazing bar sashes under single pentice roof with glazed door between. Late C20 wing recessed to left with tripartite glazing bar sashes on each floor. Irregular rear extensions.
