Description

Potter’s Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is timber-framed and clad in weatherboarding, with a plain tiled roof. The house is two stories high with a garret and an outshot to the right. A large and prominent stack cluster is located at the right end. The facade features a three-light wooden casement window on each floor, and a two-light casement window on the ground floor to the left. Half-glazed doors are found in the return elevations. A catslide outshot extends to the rear. The house originally extended further to the right; the end wall of this lost section has charred beam ends and a fireplace concealed by the weatherboarding.
