Description
Ellenden Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has a timber-framed structure that is rendered on the ground floor and tile hung on the first floor, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building features a four framed bay hall house design and stands two storeys tall, with eaves that drop to the first floor. The roof is hipped to the left, with a large gablet and half-hipped to the right, and includes a large moulded stack positioned to the centre right. The facade has three three-light wooden casements and a two-light casement to the centre right, along with three, four, and three-light casements on the ground floor, complemented by a glazed door to the centre right. The main entry is through a rib and stud door located in a hipped rear porch. There is an outshut to the right and hipped rear wings.
