Description
The rectangular water tank at Tongswood Farm dates from the late 19th century and is part of the Tongswood model farm, which was built for William Gunther, who raised prime bulls for export to Argentina. The tank has a rectangular shape, with a base made of red brick in English bond and a top course of black brick bond. Above this, it is timber-framed with open sides that support a half-hipped roof adorned with terracotta ornaments at the ends. There is a metal tap located at the side of the tank.
