Coggers Farmhouse And Walled Forecourt (Farm Shop And National Westminster Bank)

Cogger's Farmhouse, now functioning as a shop and office, dates back to the 17th century or earlier. The building features a timber frame that is clad with painted brick on the ground floor and weatherboarding on the first floor. It has a plain tiled roof with a lobby entry plan, standing two storeys tall with an attic and a half-hipped roof. There is a central right chimney stack and two gabled dormers. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows with three lights each, while the ground floor has two windows, one in the center and one to the right, along with a slightly projecting shop bay to the left. The entrance includes a half-glazed door on the left end and a panelled door to the center right, both topped with a flat hood supported by moulded brackets. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot that is partially glazed. A red brick wall extends to the right, sloping down to the front railings, which consist of simple hooped rails with a dog rail on stone footings, featuring a central single leaf gate.
