Description

Forge House is a house and shop dating from the 18th century. The ground floor and first floor are made of painted brick, featuring applied framing and roughcast infill, while the return elevations are tile hung. The roof is plain tiled, with two storeys and an attic. The roof is half-hipped to the right and has a stack at the left end, along with a flat-roofed dormer. On the first floor, there are two three-light wooden casements, and on the ground floor to the left, there is a central boarded door and a sashed shop bay to the right, which includes a half-glazed door.
