Description

Mill House is a house dating from around 1820. It features weatherboarding on a painted brick base and has a hipped slate roof with end brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys and a basement, with three windows that are 20-pane sashes, complete with intact glazing bars in moulded architraves. The central entrance has a doorcase with a six-panelled door, also framed by a moulded architrave, and is accessed by two stone steps. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. This house may have originally served as the mill house for Wandle Mill.
