Description

The Moat is a late 16th or early 17th century farmhouse, later converted into a house. It was restored in the mid-20th century. The building is timber-framed with exposed timber and plaster infilling. It has a steep, plain tiled roof and a tall brick stack positioned centrally along the ridge. The house follows a baffle entry plan. The front facade is slightly irregular, with three windows, and features wooden casement windows. A half-glazed door is located to the left of the centre.
