Description

17 High Street is a shop pair that dates back to the 16th century, with a front added in the 18th century. The building features a timber frame and is stuccoed on the first floor. It has a plain tiled roof with a brick stack positioned behind the ridge on the left side. There are two flat-headed dormers and the structure stands two storeys high with attics. The front has two windows, which are large glazing bar sashes with open boxes. Below, there is a double shop front that includes two inset glazed doors in the centre, topped by a fascia board.
