Description

The Congregational Church, built in 1857, is designed in a Neo-Gothic style. It features yellow brick construction with stone dressings. The wooden clerestorey has simple pointed arched windows, and the roof is tiled with gabled sections, complete with gable parapets and finials. A traceried oculus is located in the gable, and below it are two tall lancet windows with geometrical style tracery. The entrance includes a steeply gabled porch with double planked doors that have strap hinges.
