Description

Nos. 50 and 52, The Pantiles, are 18th-century buildings. No. 50 is similar in style to No. 48, but its front projection extends over the colonnade, supported by two large fluted columns. The building is four storeys high with four sash windows; the ground floor has two three-light sash windows with glazing bars intact, while the upper floors retain their original glazing bars. No. 52 is located at the rear, facing London Road. It is a three-storey building faced with wood, grooved to resemble masonry. It has two windows facing west and three facing south, with some glazing bars remaining above the ground floor. A modern shop front has been installed. Nos. 50 and 52 are part of a group of buildings comprising Nos. 2 to 28 (even) and Nos. 38 to 72 (even) on The Pantiles.
