Description

The Pantiles building, dated 1884, comprises three storeys and attics. Constructed of red brick with tile hanging to two gables - some tiles are curved - the building features mullion windows with three lights in each gable. A wide modillion cornice runs along the top. Second and first-floor windows have five lights. A cast iron balcony sits above a colonnade. Numbers 2 to 28 (even) and 38 to 72 (even) form a group.
