Description

Nos 8 and 10 on The Pantiles were originally built as one house in 1746 and are representative of 18th-century architecture. The building stands three storeys tall and features a painted front designed to imitate masonry. It has an eaves cornice and two sash windows, although some of the glazing bars are missing. The ground floor has modern shop fronts, and there is a colonnade supported by slender columns. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 28 (even) and Nos 38 to 72 (even).
