The garden wall at The Hermitage is a late 19th-century structure that encloses three sides of a rectangular area. It is primarily constructed of red brick, featuring a corner pier topped with a stone statue of a mythical creature. The wall is built mainly in Flemish bond, with some sections in Sussex bond. There is an entrance that includes a wooden hood and a grille leading to a door.
