Description

The garden walls, located approximately 17 meters southeast of The Hermitage, date from the early to mid-19th century. They enclose a rectangular kitchen garden and are constructed of red brick with burnt headers arranged in a Flemish garden wall bond. The walls are tall and rise higher at the north end, where there is a 20th-century pergola situated on the site of a former lean-to glasshouse.
