Description

St Mary's Abbey features the north wall of the cloister, which dates back to around 1090 and has 19th-century alterations. The wall is constructed from stone rubble and stands approximately 12 feet tall. The lower courses display herringbone work, and there is a 4-centred arch that was added in the 19th century when a carriage entrance was created.
