Description
This is a fragment of a wall approximately 20 metres long, which is part of the precinct walls of St Mary's Abbey, located in Museum Gardens. The wall dates back to around 1266 and is constructed from magnesian limestone, featuring sloped coping made of stone flags. It stands approximately 2.3 metres high and includes remains of three buttresses with offsets on the outer side, facing the car park at No. 9 St Leonard's Place.
