Description

A pair of cottages dating to around 1830. They are constructed of brown brick with red brick detailing and have a slate roof with wide eaves. The cottages are two storeys high with a symmetrical arrangement of four windows. The windows have arched, brick-detailed heads (voussoirs) and contain twelve-pane sashes. The door cases are topped with flat hoods supported by reeded pilasters. Number 2 has a four-panelled front door, with the top two panels glazed. Number 1 has a 20th-century replacement door. This building has group value, contributing to the character of the terrace.
