Description

The Cedars is a very late 18th century house that has been significantly altered in the 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, constructed of brick. The main front faces east and features an asymmetrical design with a central porch, a large Flemish gable to the left, and various 19th century additions and alterations to the right. The entrance includes a four-centred arched doorway. The windows are in a Tudor style, with wooden mullions and plain casement openings, while the newer part has leaded casements. The house is topped with a tiled roof and has a total of 16 tall Tudor style octagonal chimney stacks. In the garden to the north, there is a small 18th century stone grotto.
