Description

The listed building comprises a pair of houses located on Charlton Terrace in Tonbridge. The first entry suggests a construction date of around 1807, evidenced by the dated brickwork, while the second suggests circa 1830. They are built of red brick, with slate roofs and red brick chimney stacks. Each house has two storeys and a basement, with a uniform 6-window front. The windows are 12-pane sashes set in reveals, featuring ribbed brick voussoirs. The doorcases are characterized by cornices and brackets, sheltering four-panelled doors with the top two panels glazed. A three-step approach leads from the street to the entrances.
