Description

This is a wall located 10 yards to the north-east of Ford Place. It dates from the 16th century but has been extensively patched over time. The lower part of the wall is made of coursed rubble stone, while the upper section is constructed from red brick laid in English bond. The wall is believed to be situated on the likely site of the front wall of the main block of the original house. It measures 30 yards long and stands 6 feet high.
