Description
Spring Hill Lodge is a house, possibly a former hall-house, dating from the 15th century, with some alterations from the 18th and 20th centuries. The building is timber-framed, featuring a brick ground floor and exposed framing on the first floor, which includes curved braces and plaster infilling. It has a plain tiled hipped roof with a large brick stack positioned off-centre to the right. The house is two storeys tall with an irregular three-window front, which includes lattice casements. There is a small central one-storey projection with a pentice roof and a one-storey wing that projects to the left. At the rear, there is a two-storey central wing with a late 20th-century door and a part catslide outshut.
