Description
The coach house, located immediately north east of Oakhill Lawn, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a peg-tile roof. The building faces west and is positioned at right angles to the main house, with a simple rectangular layout that includes a central carriage house flanked by tack rooms.
The exterior is a single storey, featuring a full-height, shallow projecting porch in the centre topped with a hipped roof. The right-hand tack room contains a 3-light 19th-century window with square leaded panes and a segmental arched head, along with a door at the far right. The left-hand tack room has a door next to the porch and a 2-light casement window to the left. A weathervane is situated on the roof.
The coach house is included for its group value with the main house.
