Description

No. 47 High Street is a shop dating from the early to mid 19th century. The exterior features wood that is grooved to imitate masonry and is topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and two windows, with a moulded eaves cornice. It displays two sash windows that have verticals only. The shopfront is notable for its fine early 19th-century design, which includes a deep fascia and four pilasters. Inside, there are four cast-iron columns.
