Description

No. 77 High Street is a shop dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped by a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features symmetrically arranged bayed shop windows on the ground floor, which are covered by a common entablature and a flat roof that spans the width of the shop. The window lights are separated by slender wooden pilasters that rest on a panelled wooden plinth. There is a glazed door with a rectangular fanlight above it. On the first floor, there are two flush-framed twelve-paned hung sash windows.
