Description

The Gun Tower in the grounds of Quex Park was built around 1812. This circular tower, made of brown brick, stands four storeys high and features a crenellated parapet with stone coping. It has four circular or round-headed window openings, some of which are blocked, and includes stringcourses and simple cambered doorcases. The tower was originally used by a previous owner of Quex Park for signaling out to sea.
