Description

199 Canterbury Road is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of brown brick. It features a parapet and a dropped moulded eaves cornice. On the upper floors, there are three sash windows set within moulded architraves, all of which retain their glazing bars. A stringcourse runs along the building. The ground floor is distinguished by a Doric portico, which is supported by two fluted columns and two pilasters. This portico also includes a rectangular fanlight and panelled reveals.
