Description

Smugglers' Cafe is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Canterbury Road in Birchington-on-Sea. It is two storeys high with an attic, constructed of brown brick featuring red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The roof is adorned with shaped Dutch gables at both ends and has a wooden modillion eaves cornice. There are three dormers and a total of six windows, along with one blocked window space that still has its glazing bars intact. The entrance features a doorcase with a heavy flat hood supported by brackets.
