Description

Grove House is a mid-18th century building of two storeys and attics. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings, and has a renewed tiled roof with two hipped dormers. The ends of the building feature shaped Dutch gables. The front has three original "Sun" fireplaques, three sash windows with intact glazing bars, and two three-light canted bays on the ground floor. A central doorcase shelters a panelled door and a porch with cast iron trelliswork. Grove House forms a group with numbers 3 and 5 The Square.
