Description

This building is a farm office located about 10 metres east of Sevenscore House. It dates from the 17th century, was rebuilt in the 18th century, and underwent further alterations in the late 20th century. The structure is made of bricks in various colours, bonds, and dates, with roofs that are either plain tiled or thatched.

The building consists of two blocks with different constructions. The left block is one storey with an attic, set on a high base of English bond. It features a roof with kneelered parapet gables, a central stack, and three flat-roofed dormers. The fenestration is irregular, comprising two wooden casements and a central boarded half-door with a sidelight, accessed by a flight of wooden stairs.

The right block is a single-storey range with a thatched roof and a weatherboarded gable end, which includes three small wooden casements and is buttressed at the rear. This building is included for its group value with Sevenscore House.
