Description

Ash House is a two-storey house and shop, dated 1832 with later 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of painted brick with flint to the rear, and has an interlocking tiled roof. The front elevation features a regular pattern of glazing bar sashes: three to the first floor, and two to the ground floor, all with rendered surrounds. A central half-glazed door is flanked by a date stone reading "Ash House". The right return has two blank window spaces from 1832 on the first floor, and a plate glass, canted shop front on the ground floor with a recessed glazed door.
