Description

These are a pair of houses dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, located on the east side of Market Place. They are three storeys high with attics and basements, built of brown brick. The roofs are mansard style, tiled and feature two dormers, with a parapet and stone coping along the top. The windows are sash windows, with vertical glazing bars now missing. The ground and first floors have two three-light canted bay windows. Each doorcase has an open pediment, three-quarter Tuscan columns, a semi-circular fanlight, panelled reveals, and a six-panelled, moulded door.
