Description

This is a pair of houses dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. They are three storeys high plus a basement, with each house featuring two window bays. The facades are constructed of red brick and topped with a capped parapet. The windows are four panes wide, and the basement windows have been altered. A flight of four steps, complete with iron handrails, leads up to each house's round-headed doorway. The doors are six-panelled, with the upper four panels moulded. Each doorway is topped with a semi-circular fanlight; the fanlight in number 38 includes tracery.
