Description
The Corporation Boundary Stone is a boundary stone from the 18th century or early 19th century, located in situ. It stands about 2 feet high and has a round head. The main side of the stone is inscribed with "T L F," representing the Town and Liberty of Faversham. The short sides feature the letters "O" for Ospringe, "D" for Davington, and "F" for Faversham, indicating the meeting point of these three parishes. Additionally, the side marked "F" is inscribed with "XXXIII," suggesting that the stone also served as a boundary for the Home Mills when they were under government control, as their boundary stones were similarly marked. The stone is situated adjacent to or on the scheduled Chart Mills site.
